Turkish Airlines will launch the Istanbul–Bissau route on March 21, 2026.
The airline will operate two round trips per week via Dakar: departures from Istanbul on Mondays and Saturdays, and from Bissau on Tuesdays and Sundays. The route will be served by Boeing 737-8 aircraft. The scheduled flight time is 9 hours 35 minutes from Istanbul and 9 hours 5 minutes from Bissau.
Bissau is the capital of Guinea-Bissau in West Africa. In West Africa, the carrier also serves Accra, Dakar, Abidjan, and Lagos.
