
Mandarin Oriental Downtown Dubai Opens on November 7
Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers in Yokohama, Japan is holding a “Shanghai Hairy Crab Fair” from November 1 through January 12, 2026.
Using Shanghai hairy crabs from Lake Tai (Taihu), offerings include whole steamed crab; xiaolongbao filled with crab meat and crab roe; a dish of crispy rice topped with a special seafood sauce made from a Shanghai crab roe paste blended with shallots, ginger, and salted duck egg yolk; a plate featuring seasonal seafood and domestically grown Chinese vegetables shipped directly from contracted farmers in Japan; and a high-heat stir-fry of Japanese Black Wagyu beef with young ginger.
Prices: the Shanghai hairy crab course is 18,000 yen; whole steamed Shanghai hairy crab is 6,000 yen; and Shanghai hairy crab xiaolongbao with crab meat and roe is 600 yen per piece. Prices include tax and service charge.
Location: 3rd-floor Chinese restaurant “Sairyu.” Serving hours: lunch 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (until 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays); dinner 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (until 9:00 p.m. on public holidays).
