
IHG Hotels & Resorts to Host ‘Traveling Hotel by IHG’ in Shibuya, Tokyo, Nov 22–24
Japan’s Hoshino Resorts will reorganize its group companies effective December 1.
Kusatsu Kogen Resort Development will absorb Asama Onsen Hotel Management through a merger. Through a company split, Hoshino Resorts and Hoshino Resorts Management will transfer part of their businesses to Kusatsu Kogen Resort Development. After the reorganization, Kusatsu Kogen Resort Development will change its name to HRK.
Asama Onsen Hotel Management’s KAI Alps, Hoshino Resorts’ KAI Kinugawa, and Hoshino Resorts Management’s KAI Matsumoto, KAI Tamatsukuri, KAI Ito, KAI Hakone, and KAI Enshu will have their operations transferred to Kusatsu Kogen Resort Development.
Kusatsu Kogen Resort Development was established in 1987 with capital of 90 million yen. Hoshino Resorts owns 100% of the company through Horizon Hotels. Hoshino Resorts also owns more than 99% of Hoshino Resorts Management and 100% of Asama Onsen Hotel Management.
