flydubai signs MoU to add up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft
Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) will put into service a “Regional Revitalization” special-livery aircraft (Boeing 737-800, registration JA58AN).
The livery features the prefectural flowers of all 47 prefectures across the fuselage, with the ANA Group’s Regional Revitalization logo near the forward door. It carries forward the spirit of the Expo 2025 special-livery aircraft “EXPO2025 ANA JET,” inheriting the excitement generated by Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and its subtheme “Connecting Lives.” Before the “EXPO2025 ANA JET” entered service, the aircraft was sighted in Taiwan after being painted. Routes served by the Boeing 737-800 will be operated by ANA Wings.
Onboard, in line with the Expo theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” service will use paper cups designed by students from Ishikawa Prefectural Nanao Special Needs School and Osaka Prefectural Sunagawa Special Needs High School, created for the “Noto Reconstruction Support Charter” conducted on April 19 and 20. Cabin crew will also wear aprons featuring the same design.
The inaugural flight will be NH295 from Tokyo/Haneda to Tottori on December 8, with an unveiling ceremony held at the departure gate. A nickname for the aircraft will also be announced.
