Thai Airways to Adopt Piece Concept for Checked Baggage from 2026
AIRDO (Japanese airline) will sell the “Bear-Do Miniature Salmon Box (with salmon jerky)” and the “Mascot Bear-Do (Fluffy Cape Ver.)” onboard its flights in Japan.
The “Bear-Do Miniature Salmon Box (with salmon jerky)” (1,000 yen including tax) is a palm-sized miniature version of a salmon shipping box, made by reusing offcut wood generated during the production of wooden shipping crates for salted salmon. The top lid features illustrations such as Bear-Do riding a salmon and an airplane. It comes with salmon jerky from Hiroo, Hokkaido, Japan, and the box can also be used as a small container for business cards, cards, and other items. Size: 6.5 cm × 12 cm × 2.5 cm. Sales begin on December 1.
The “Mascot Bear-Do (Fluffy Cape Ver.)” (1,500 yen including tax) is a Mascot Bear-Do wearing a fluffy hooded cape. Thread the ball chain through the hole in the hood to pull the hood fully over its head; the hood also has openings for Bear-Do’s ears to peek out, allowing you to style it as you like. Sales begin in mid-December.
