Thai Airways to Adopt Piece Concept for Checked Baggage from 2026
Emirates and Air Canada have extended their strategic partnership through 2032.
The two airlines signed a three-year partnership agreement in 2022, operating codeshares on routes including Canada, the United States, and Dubai. Air Canada also moved its operations at Dubai International Airport to Terminal 3. The agreement has now been renewed and extended through the end of 2032.
As a result, eligible customers will receive priority benefits, and customer experience will be improved through initiatives such as cooperation on the transition to Dubai’s new airport after 2032. The codeshare will continue, and their interline partnership will offer broader access. They also plan to enable reciprocal award redemptions for Premium Economy in the future.
Between Canada and Dubai, Air Canada operates one daily round-trip on the Toronto–Dubai route, while Emirates operates one daily round-trip on the Dubai–Toronto and Dubai–Montreal routes.
