Japan Transocean Air (JTA) will begin sales of air tickets for its Okinawa/Naha–Taipei/Taoyuan route from 10:00 a.m. on December 3.
From February 3, 2026, the airline will operate one round-trip flight per day. The aircraft type will be the Boeing 737-800. The required flight time will be 1 hour 45 minutes from Okinawa/Naha and 1 hour 30 minutes from Taipei/Taoyuan.
Class J will be treated as premium economy class, and standard seats as economy class. In-flight Wi-Fi will be free of charge. Light meals will be served in premium economy class and snacks will be offered in economy class. Premium economy class passengers and those eligible to use Japan Airlines (JAL) operated flight lounges will be able to use the common lounge “Ryu-rin” at Naha Airport and the China Airlines lounge “Meiyuan” at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
Fares for economy class will start from 14,500 yen one-way and 25,000 yen round-trip. Premium economy class will start from 33,500 yen one-way and 57,000 yen round-trip. All of these are “Special” fares, inclusive of fuel surcharges but excluding taxes. “Semi-Flex” and “Flex” fares will also be available.
As a launch commemorative campaign, round-trip economy class fares will start from 19,800 yen. The sales period will be from 10:00 a.m. on December 3 through December 9. The travel period will be from February 3 to March 28, 2026, excluding February 14 to 18.
Award tickets for each one-way sector will start from 7,500 miles for economy class and 15,000 miles for premium economy class. Fuel surcharges and taxes will be required separately.
