Solaseed Air has announced its financial results for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2026 (April to September 2025). Net income was in the black at 6 million yen.
Operating revenue was 26.935 billion yen (up 5.9% year-on-year), operating expenses were 26.726 billion yen (up 4.3% year-on-year), and operating income was 209 million yen. Total assets stood at 56.518 billion yen, net assets at 3.941 billion yen, and the equity ratio was 6.9%.
Available seat capacity was 1,654,673 seats (up 7.7% year-on-year), the number of revenue passengers was 1,201,531 (up 8.3% year-on-year), the revenue seat load factor was 74.1% (up 0.8 points year-on-year), and weekly utilization was 99.2%.
The business environment remained challenging due to foreign exchange fluctuations, rising prices, and intensified price competition. By continuously running sales campaigns to stimulate and capture demand, as well as implementing measures such as offering bonus miles to promote boarding, the airline succeeded in attracting passenger demand. Both passenger numbers and operating revenue reached record highs.
The full-year earnings forecast was revised, with operating revenue now projected at 55 billion yen (a decrease of 1.6 billion yen from the previous forecast), operating income at 900 million yen, and ordinary income at 400 million yen.
