NTT Docomo will terminate the insurance services attached to its “d CARD” as of March 31, 2026.
The insurance services to be discontinued are the “Travel Insurance Service (Domestic Travel Insurance / Overseas Travel Insurance)” for primary and family cardholders aged 29 and under, and the “Shopping Protection Insurance” for primary and family cardholders. There will be no changes to “d CARD GOLD U”, “d CARD GOLD”, or “d CARD PLATINUM”.
The change dates are as follows: the “Travel Insurance Service” will be applicable for departures up to March 31, 2026 (for overseas travel, up to the 90th day from departure from Japan), and the “Shopping Protection Insurance” will be applicable for purchases made up to March 31, 2026.
