Qatar Airways Changes Plan to Deploy F1 Special Livery Boeing 777-300ER on Tokyo Narita–Doha Route
Qantas Airways has completed the return to service of its Airbus A380 aircraft.
After around six years in storage, the airline has completed the return to service of its 10th Airbus A380. The aircraft will be used as an operational spare during the Christmas period and will be deployed on the Sydney–Dallas route from January 1, 2026.
The process of returning the Airbus A380s to service required more than 100,000 work hours, along with a complete refurbishment of the cabin. Qantas states that this was the largest maintenance check in its 105-year history.
The Airbus A380 operated by Qantas is configured with 14 First Class seats, 70 Business Class seats, 60 Premium Economy Class seats, and 341 Economy Class seats. The airline has refurbished the First Class cabin and the upper deck lounge, and increased the number of seats in Business Class and Premium Economy Class.
