IndiGo Apologizes for Multiple Flight Cancellations and Announces Support Measures
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan has issued a wide-area alert calling for caution regarding terrorism and other threats in Europe, North America, and other regions.
During holiday and event seasons such as Christmas and the New Year period, the risk of becoming a target of terrorism increases due to larger crowds and greater movement of people. In addition, as there have been terrorist incidents targeting Israeli interests and Jewish people, the ministry is also urging vigilance during and around Jewish commemorative days and religious holidays.
In Europe, North America, and other regions, recent years have seen terrorist attacks targeting so-called soft targets—places where security and surveillance are relatively lax and large numbers of ordinary citizens gather. In particular, areas around tourist attractions, event venues, restaurants, hotels, shopping malls, public transportation, and religious facilities have become targets of terrorism.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan is urging people to make every effort to obtain the latest information at all times and to exercise utmost caution in ensuring their safety.
