Vietjet Air will increase the number of flights on the Hiroshima–Hanoi route from December 20.
In addition to the current services on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, Saturday operations will be added. The route will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft. It is the only non-stop service connecting the Chugoku–Shikoku region of Japan with Vietnam. The flight time will be 4 hours 50 minutes from Hiroshima and 3 hours 55 minutes from Hanoi.
The route was launched on May 12, 2024 with two round trips per week and was increased to three round trips per week on November 19 of the same year.
