Qatar Airways Group has appointed Mr. Hamad Ali Al-Hater as Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective December 7. He succeeds CEO Mr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer.
Mr. Al-Hater joined Qatar Airways Group after holding senior positions at QatarEnergy and serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Hamad International Airport. He was responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of airport operations, while leading the determination of strategic direction, the streamlining of operations, infrastructure expansion, and the continuous enhancement of the passenger experience.
