Kagoshima Arc City will open Hotel Grandcerezo Kagoshima Tenmonkan on March 10, 2026.
The former Hotel Grandcerezo Kagoshima, which closed in March, will be newly rebuilt and relocated to the Tenmonkan district and reopened with a fresh look. The hotel will offer 151 guest rooms in 9 types, including standard double, cabin twin equipped with bunk beds, a microwave, a refrigerator-freezer, and a ceiling-mounted projector, a universal room, superior twin, Grandcerezo twin with a view of Sakurajima, and The Grandcerezo, which offers sweeping panoramic views of Sakurajima. All rooms will be equipped with TVs of 43 inches or larger, supporting screen mirroring and internet content viewing on the TV. The large public bath with an artificial carbonated spring and an observation view will feature a sauna and cold bath in the men’s area, and a waterfall shower in the women’s area. At the top-floor restaurant, breakfast will be served in buffet style, centered on local specialties from Kagoshima such as “Kagoshima Kurobuta Shabu-shabu (black pork hotpot)” and “Keihan (Kagoshima-style chicken rice).”
Access: approximately 5 minutes on foot from Tenmonkandori tram stop, about 6 minutes on foot from the Tenmonkan bus stop, and about 20 minutes by car from the Kagoshima Interchange (IC) on the Kyushu Expressway.
