Hotel Livemax opened the “Livemax Sakishima Cosmo Tower Hotel” on December 10.
The hotel occupies floors 7 to 17 of the Osaka Prefectural Government Sakishima Building (Osaka Prefectural Government Sakishima Chosha). It has initially opened 263 guest rooms on floors 10 to 17, and in spring 2026 it will add approximately 90 more guest rooms and a sauna on floors 7 to 9. Most guest rooms are a mix of Japanese and Western styles and are all 35 square meters or larger. Each room can accommodate up to 6 people and offers sweeping night views of the Kansai area. The “Chibo Collaboration Room,” created in partnership with the Osaka-based okonomiyaki restaurant chain Chibo, features floor and ceiling designs inspired by a teppan (iron griddle). The “Sakura Cray-Pas Collaboration Room,” created in partnership with the Japanese stationery brand Sakura Cray-Pas, displays 1,500 COUPY-PENCIL® crayons in frames, with an interior design that lets guests enjoy colorful variations.
Access: approximately 3 minutes on foot from Trade Center-mae Station, about 7 minutes on foot from Cosmo Square Station, and about 1 minute by car from the Sakishima-side exit of the Osaka Port Sakishima Tunnel. A shuttle bus operates to Universal City Station (near Universal Studios Japan in Osaka).
