Hotel Granvia Kyoto will hold its “Dinner Buffet – Winter Collection” from December 1 through January 8, 2026.
The buffet will feature dishes using ingredients produced in Kyoto, such as mousse of lobster and Kyoto vegetables, quiche with Kyoto mushrooms and Brie de Meaux, and risotto with Kujo leek and truffle flavor, as well as cheese fondue and ajillo (garlic shrimp in olive oil). In addition, a special dish arranged from “Roast Lamb in Salt Crust Jus d’Agneau,” which won second place at the 3rd Escoffier Young Chef Competition Japan Representative Selection, will be carved and served at the buffet corner. As optional add-ons, guests can order pan-fried foie gras with truffle-flavored risotto and cocotte-style lobster. From December 20 to 25, a Christmas Dinner Buffet will be offered, where guests can choose either lobster and abalone steamed in white wine or domestically produced beef fillet in puff pastry, and enjoy live electronic piano performances.
The venue is the 2nd-floor café restaurant “Le Temps.” Service hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a 90-minute time limit. Prices start from 7,900 yen for adults, 3,900 yen for elementary school students, and 1,900 yen for children aged 3 and older up to elementary school age. Tax and service charge are included. The hours and prices for the Christmas Dinner Buffet differ. The buffet will not be offered from December 31 through January 3, 2026.
