Hotel Livemax rebranded and opened “Livemax Resort Hida Takayama ~ Garyu-no-Sato ~” on December 3.
The property was formerly known as Hida Takayama Jikagensen-no-Yu Garyu-no-Sato, a hot spring inn with its own natural source. Guest rooms include Japanese-style rooms, Western modern twin rooms, and rooms where guests can stay with their dogs, among several other types. Inside the resort, there is a hot spring facility that uses the in-house natural hot spring “Garyu-no-Yu.” Meals at the restaurant in the building are scheduled to be offered in stages from this winter, featuring dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients from the Hida region in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.
Access: About 15 minutes by car from Takayama Station, and about 20 minutes by car from Takayama Interchange (IC).
