JR Hokkaido will end sales of certain promotional tickets in line with the timetable revision on March 14, 2026.
In conjunction with making all seats reserved on limited express trains bound for Asahikawa, JR Hokkaido will end sales of the following tickets: the “Non-Reserved Seat Round-Trip Discount Ticket (S Ticket)”, “Reserved Seat Round-Trip Discount Ticket (R Ticket)”, “Sapporo Kaitoku Ticket”, “Sapporo Round-Trip Limited Ticket”, and “Furano–Sapporo Round-Trip Ticket” as of March 8; the “Asahiyama Zoo Ticket” and “Asahiyama Zoo Access Ticket” as of March 10; and the “Asahikawa–Nayoro 4-Trip Coupon Ticket” as of March 13.
In addition, the “Furano–Biei Free Ticket”, which has been sold on a limited-time basis during the tourism season for the Furano and Biei areas, will no longer be offered in the future.
Discount products for limited express trains bound for Asahikawa will be consolidated into the “Limited Express Tokudane 1 (Tokuda-ne 1)” and the “Conventional Line Ticketless Limited Express Ticket”, both available exclusively via the “Ekinet” online reservation service. For the southern Hokkaido (Dōnan) and eastern Hokkaido (Dōtō) areas, the only “Ekinet”-exclusive product will be the “Limited Express Tokudane 1”, while price levels equivalent to the current “Limited Express Tokudane 14” will continue to be offered.
