Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort & Spa in Japan is offering a “Good Fortune and Happiness Afternoon Tea” from December 1 through February 28, 2026.
The sweets selection includes vanilla and lemon macarons decorated with torii gate-shaped chocolate, twin strawberry cream puffs finished in celebratory red and white colors, chocolate mousse inspired by Mount Fuji, mille-feuille shaped like leaves, strawberry and kelp jelly, blancmange topped with goji berries, biscotti with nuts, and chestnut mousse. Savories feature a BLT sandwich, tomato and citrus salad, and sea bream brandade. There are two types of scones made with whole wheat flour and matcha dough combined with semi-dried figs, served with rice and walnut confiture, adzuki bean and raspberry confiture, and house-made clotted cream. In addition, a seasonal cake, chocolate mousse (1,800 yen), is also available. Inside is hidden pistachio mousse, accompanied by vanilla ice cream, strawberries, citrus fruits, and a chocolate plate.
The venue is the Living Room. Serving hours are from noon to 2:30 p.m. The price is 5,200 yen, or 6,200 yen with a glass of Champagne. All prices include tax; service charge is additional.
