Cathay Pacific to Increase Fuel Surcharges from March 18, with Japan-Departing Fares to Decrease from April 1
Hokkaido Air System (HAC) will add more flight cancellations due to aircraft maintenance.
This is in response to an engine malfunction on an aircraft (registration: JA14HC) that occurred on December 11. Because the maintenance work is taking longer than expected, HAC has decided to cancel an additional 8 flights scheduled to operate on December 20 and 21. Another 8 flights will be delayed by up to one hour.
As a result, the total number of flights canceled due to this issue has reached 32. The date for resuming operations of the aircraft will be announced once it has been finalized.
