Japan Transocean Air (JTA) has introduced a full flight simulator for the Boeing 737-800 aircraft. It will enter service on December 20.
The simulator is CAE’s latest model, the “CAE7000XR.” It faithfully reproduces the cockpit environment and flight characteristics of the actual aircraft. With the latest visual system and an electric motion system, trainees can realistically experience a field of view and aircraft behavior that are virtually identical to real flights, enabling the creation of a training environment closely aligned with actual flight operations.
In addition to improving the quality and efficiency of flight crew training, JTA aims to enhance emergency response capabilities and improve maintenance engineers’ technical skills, thereby contributing to higher overall quality. (Photo: JTA)
