Sichuan Airlines will reduce the number of flights on its Tokyo/Narita–Chengdu/Tianfu route from January 7, 2026.
The route is currently operated once daily round-trip, but will be reduced to six round-trips per week, except on Wednesdays. The flight will operate on February 18, but not on February 20. An Airbus A320 aircraft will be used. The flight time is 6 hours 10 minutes from Tokyo/Narita and 4 hours 35 minutes from Chengdu/Tianfu.
In addition, Sichuan Airlines has already reduced its Osaka/Kansai–Chengdu/Tianfu route to three round-trips per week from December 1.
