China Airlines has placed an additional order for five Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.
Together with the firm order for ten aircraft in April 2025, the airline has now ordered a total of fifteen A350-1000s. They will complement the current fleet of fifteen Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which are mainly operated on long-haul routes.
The Airbus A350-1000 is equipped with Rolls-Royce engines and has a maximum range of 18,000 kilometers. Compared to previous-generation aircraft, it can reduce fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by 25 percent.
