Royal Air Maroc, the national airline of Morocco, will launch a new route between Casablanca, Morocco, and Los Angeles, USA, on June 7, 2026.
The airline will operate three round-trip flights per week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 787-8 aircraft. The flight time will be 12 hours and 20 minutes from Casablanca and 11 hours and 5 minutes from Los Angeles.
This will be the first nonstop service linking Africa and the U.S. West Coast, and is described as a major step in expanding Royal Air Maroc’s long-haul network. The airline aims to meet the growing demand for intercontinental travel ahead of the FIFA World Cup, which will also be held in Morocco.
Royal Air Maroc currently serves five cities in North America: New York, Washington, Miami, Montreal, and Toronto.
