Reiwa Travel launched its NEWT Elite Program, a membership program, on December 10.
The membership status has four tiers: Green, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, with point reward rates of 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5% respectively. The requirements for upgrading are completion of 1 booking for Gold, completion of 3 bookings or a total of 300,000 yen in trips for Platinum, and completion of 5 bookings and a total of 500,000 yen in trips for Diamond. Benefits include a lowest price guarantee for tours and hotels, cancellation protection, and 24-hour Japanese-language support at the destination.
In addition to offering priority invitations to special sales and monitor (trial) tours for Platinum and Diamond members, Diamond members are also given priority access to travel concierge services. As a general rule, cancellation protection allows free cancellation up to 31 days before departure, excluding peak periods.
