Emirates to Introduce Refurbished Boeing 777-300ER on Dubai–Beirut and Dubai–Beijing/Capital Routes from 2026
Kanat-Shark Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
This is the first of four aircraft introduced under a long-term lease agreement with Air Lease Corporation (ALC). The airline becomes the first operator of this aircraft type in Central Asia and the CIS region. By expanding its fleet and launching new routes to major cities, the carrier aims to improve connectivity across Asia and Europe.
The aircraft is configured with 190 seats in total, comprising 16 in business class and 174 in economy class. It features the “Airspace” cabin configuration, including overhead bins that are 60% larger than previous ones. Inflight Wi-Fi is also available.
The Airbus A321XLR offers ultra-long-range capability with a maximum range of 4,700 nautical miles, around 15% longer than the Airbus A321LR. Compared to previous-generation competing aircraft, it reduces fuel burn by 30%.
