GENSEN HOLDINGS simultaneously reopened “Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Ena Gorge” and “Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shima Saishoraku” after renovations on December 26 in Japan.
Both properties were formerly known as the original Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Ena Gorge and Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Shima Saishoraku, and have now been rebranded as part of the Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium series.
At Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Ena Gorge, a new panoramic bath has been installed on the 4th floor, and the two large communal baths and open-air baths that were located on the basement 1st floor have been integrated into a single facility. All baths operate on a men-and-women alternating schedule. The restaurant on the 4th floor has been completely renovated, and the dinner and breakfast offerings have been upgraded to the Premium series standards. A premium lounge and kids’ corner have been newly established. In the guest rooms, the number of rooms with Japanese-style beds has been increased, and new guest rooms with open-air baths have been added.
At Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Shima Saishoraku, the guest room lineup now includes 8 rooms with open-air baths, 9 rooms with Japanese-style beds, 4 rooms with kids’ spaces, and 5 glamping area rooms. A shower booth will be added to the pool zone, which operates in the summer season. A new open-air bath has been created on the 3rd floor of the main building, and a cold bath has been added to the existing large communal bath and open-air bath. A premium lounge and a post-bath relaxation lounge have also been newly established. For dinner, a buffet featuring Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes with a focus on seafood will be offered.
