
LOT Polish Airlines Unveils New Boeing 737-8 Cabin Interior
Lufthansa German Airlines has ferried a special livery aircraft (Boeing 787-9, registration: D-ABPU) to Frankfurt to commemorate the airline’s 100th anniversary.
The newly built aircraft comes from the factory in Everett, Washington State, USA. Its livery is based on a dark blue color scheme and features the airline’s trademark white crane, with the number “100” painted on the left side and underside, and “1926 / 2026” painted on the right side. It is scheduled to enter service within the next few weeks.
Special liveries will also be applied to Airbus A380, Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A350-900, Airbus A320, and Boeing 747-8 aircraft, with the full lineup expected to be in place by October 2026.
Lufthansa German Airlines was founded on January 6, 1926, and operated its first flight on April 6 of the same year.
