Hilton Hiroshima will offer a strawberry-filled “Sleeping Beauty Afternoon Tea” themed on the European folktale “Sleeping Beauty” from December 29 to April 12.
The sweets selection features nine strawberry-based items, including “Cassis Spindle,” which expresses the spindle needle with chocolate work; “Strawberry Sleeping Forest,” inspired by the tangled thorny woods; “Raspberry Heart,” representing the prince’s loving kiss of awakening; and “Fairy Ruby,” inspired by talkative fairies. Two types of scones are available: rich butter and sakura strawberry. Savories include five items such as “Roast Beef Witch’s Horn,” decorated with the witch’s horns, and “Princess Pillow,” inspired by a princess’s bed. Beverages include pot service of 15 varieties of JING TEA and coffee by illy.
The venue is the bar & lounge “ZATTA” on the 6th floor. Afternoon service is a 2-hour seating available from noon to 5:30 p.m., and evening service is a 90-minute seating from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Capacity is limited to 40 guests per day for the afternoon and 8 guests per day for the evening. The price is 4,900 yen, tax and service charge included.
