Japan Airlines (JAL) is running the “JAL International Flight Upgrade Award Mileage Rebate Campaign” on the Tokyo/Haneda–Chicago route from December 1 through February 28.
The offer applies to upgrades from Economy Class or Premium Economy Class to Business Class on flight JL9 from Chicago to Tokyo/Haneda. The credited mileage is 8,000 miles.
No campaign registration is required, and same-day upgrade services at the airport are not eligible. Bonus miles will be credited by around late April.
