Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Tokyo will hold a “Strawberry & Chocolate Sweets Buffet” from January 5 to March 13, featuring mainly the new Japanese strawberry variety Tochiaika.
The buffet will offer sweets that combine the red of strawberries and the dark tones of chocolate, such as gâteau au chocolat, chocolate shortcake, stick-shaped candy chocolates that allow guests to compare different cacao content levels, strawberry mousse tart, and freshly prepared desserts like made-to-order crepes topped with warm strawberry sauce. As a Valentine’s Day special from February 11 to 14, a special dessert will be served, limited to one plate per person. Appetizers and main dishes incorporating strawberries will also be available.
The venue is the 1st-floor Café & Dining “Chef’s Palette.” Serving hours are from noon to 3:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays, with a 90-minute time limit. Prices start from 5,000 yen, tax included, service charge not included.
