Starlux Airlines will revamp its inflight amenities on long-haul routes.
The airline will introduce new pajamas for First Class and Business Class, and new amenity kits for Premium Economy Class and Economy Class. The fragrance used in the lavatories will also be changed.
In First Class, pajamas from HUNTSMAN, a tailor brand based in London, United Kingdom, will be provided. The brand’s signature houndstooth pattern is featured on the wear and the outer fabric pouch, and the set comes in a buttoned, envelope-style package. Service began on January 1.
In Business Class, pajamas by Paul Smith will be provided. The brand’s iconic multicolored stripes are subtly placed on details such as both sides of the top at the waist, the drawstring of the pants, and the storage pouch. To commemorate the launch of the Taipei/Taoyuan–Phoenix route, they will be introduced on this route from January 15, and on all long-haul routes from the end of January.
In Premium Economy Class, the collaboration amenities with SMILEY will be completely renewed, with ocean blue and sand beige as the theme colors, and will be introduced from the end of February. Pillow covers co-created with the Taiwanese bedding brand “MENDOUFU” (Min Doufu) have been provided since January 1, and the dedicated slippers are being gradually updated from January.
In Economy Class, new sustainable-material amenities have also been introduced, with different outer bag designs for outbound and inbound flights. The airline has adopted “Oudh Geranium” by Urban Apothecary, a British lifestyle and fragrance brand, and added a lip balm to the kit.
In the lavatories, First Class and Business Class now feature the “Inspired by THREE” fragrance, whose base scent was designed by Japanese brand THREE, while Premium Economy Class and Economy Class feature fragrances by Urban Apothecary.
