New “Skytree Shuttle Narita Airport Line” Bus to Tokyo Skytree Town and Kinshicho from January 16
Keisei Bus and Tobu Bus Central will launch a new express highway bus route, the “Skytree Shuttle Narita Airport Line,” connecting Narita Airport with Tokyo Skytree Town and Kinshicho, starting January 16.
This new route has been established to improve access between Narita Airport and the Tokyo Skytree Town area and Kinshicho area, where accommodation demand from international visitors to Japan is rapidly growing. The timetable is coordinated with the peak hours for flight departures and arrivals, and it is also designed to meet the needs of local residents along the route as a new means of transportation when using Narita Airport for sightseeing or business trips.
The service will be jointly operated by Keisei Bus and Tobu Bus Central, with five daily departures from Narita Airport and four daily departures from Tokyo Skytree Town/Kinshicho Station. The required travel time is around 1 hour and 20 minutes. The one-way fare is 2,000 yen, with half-price fares available for children.
Buses departing from Tokyo Skytree Town leave at 7:45 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 12:50 p.m., and 3:50 p.m., stopping at Kinshicho Station before arriving at Narita Airport’s Terminal 3, Terminal 2, and Terminal 1 in that order. Buses departing from Narita Airport leave from Stop No. 11 on the 1st floor of Terminal 3 at 8:00 a.m., 10:35 a.m., 1:35 p.m., 4:10 p.m., and 6:10 p.m.
Reservations are accepted via “Hassha Orai Net” and “Japan Bus Online.” Passengers can also board without a reservation if seats are available.
