Cebu Pacific to Suspend Sapporo/Chitose – Manila Route from June 2
Japan Airlines (JAL) will cancel flights and change aircraft on some routes through the end of February, following damage to one of its aircraft (Airbus A350-1000, registration: JA10WJ) while it was parked at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Around 12:40 a.m. on December 14, the right wing of another airline’s aircraft being towed made contact with the JAL aircraft, which was parked in a designated area for maintenance work, damaging the left cockpit window and other parts of the aircraft. According to Radarbox, the aircraft had operated as flight JL4 from Tokyo/Haneda to New York/John F. Kennedy on December 3, and has since remained parked at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
JAL will announce the impact on flights from March 1 onward at a later date.
