ANA and JCB Launch ANA JCB Card New Enrollment Campaign Offering up to the Equivalent of 152,000 Miles
Life Card will revise the insurance benefits attached to its credit cards on March 31.
Overseas travel accident insurance will be switched from automatic coverage to coverage that is effective only when the card is used to pay for the trip. While the coverage limit for rescue expenses will be revised from 2 million yen to 1 million yen, new coverage will be introduced for flight departure delays, missed connections, and delays or loss of checked baggage, up to a maximum of 30,000 yen.
For certain Gold Cards, the coverage for death and residual disability of the primary cardholder will be revised from 100 million yen to 50 million yen, liability coverage from 100 million yen to 50 million yen, and rescue expenses from 3 million yen to 1 million yen. Family member special coverage will continue, but payment of the travel cost with the card will also be required for family members. Overseas travel accident insurance for student-only cards and the seat belt insurance will be discontinued.
For domestic travel accident insurance, coverage will be discontinued for many card types. For Gold Cards and some business cards, coverage will be changed to usage-based coverage, with death and residual disability coverage set at 50 million yen for the primary cardholder (10 million yen for family members). The daily hospitalization benefit will be revised from 10,000 yen to 5,000 yen, and the daily outpatient benefit from 4,000 yen to 3,000 yen. The multiplier for surgery benefits will remain unchanged.
