Vietnam Airlines will operate round-trip charter flights on the Izumo–Hanoi route during Japans Golden Week holiday period.
The flights will operate on April 29 and May 3, using Airbus A321 aircraft. Tour packages departing from Izumo are handled by Ichibata Travel Service.
Shimane Prefecture, Vietnam Airlines, and MS Tourist signed a memorandum of understanding in December 2023 aimed at launching scheduled international flights. These charter flights will mark the fourth round of operations since May 2024.
