Hawaiian Airlines to Invest USD 500 Million in Hawaii Airports and Services Over Five Years
American Airlines, with support from major U.S. telecommunications company AT&T, has begun offering free high-speed Wi-Fi.
The airline is providing free satellite-based Wi-Fi for AAdvantage members. By simply logging in with their membership number and password, members can browse the internet and use streaming services. Service has been introduced from January on all narrowbody aircraft and all two-class regional aircraft, and will be expanded to all flights by early spring.
American Airlines has equipped more than 900 mainline aircraft with satellite Wi-Fi from Viasat and Intelsat.
