Emirates will launch a Dubai–Helsinki route on October 1.
The airline will operate one round-trip flight per day, using Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The flight time is 7 hours 10 minutes from Dubai and 6 hours 35 minutes from Helsinki.
This will be the only non-stop service connecting the United Arab Emirates and Finland, and it will operate year-round. Demand between Dubai and Helsinki has been solid, with some travelers currently connecting via other Nordic cities. Trade between the two countries is also continuing to expand.
The route will offer convenient connections with major cities in East Asia and Southeast Asia including Japan, as well as in West Asia, the Indian Ocean region, Africa, the Middle East, and Australia.
The route is currently operated by Finnair as a seasonal scheduled service during the winter timetable.
