Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Transocean Air (JTA) will deploy Boeing 787-8 aircraft on the Tokyo/Haneda–Ishigaki and Tokyo/Haneda–Miyako routes from July 17 to August 31.
The two airlines jointly operate these routes. They also deployed Boeing 787-8 aircraft with First Class cabins during peak seasons in 2024 and 2025. This year, they will move the deployment period forward and extend the duration of Boeing 787-8 operations. First Class will also be offered.
In addition, Boeing 767-300ER aircraft will be used from March 29 to April 5, from April 24 to May 6, from July 1 to 16, and from September 1 to October 24. Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be used during other periods.
