Nishitetsu Travel will end operations at its Tenjin Branch on March 29.
The Tenjin Branch began operations in 1954, when its predecessor Nishitetsu Kanko (Nishitetsu Sightseeing) was established. In recent years, applications have mainly shifted from over-the-counter reservations to the website, and since 2021 Nishitetsu Travel has been promoting a transition from in-person services to online services.
The Tenjin Branch is the company’s only counter-style store for individual customers, and with this closure, the shift to online services will be completed.
