
Hankyu Travel to Operate Chartered Cruises on Japanese Cruise Ship Asuka II
Hankyu Travel International will operate charter cruises on the cruise ship “Asuka II.”
The cruises will operate on March 25 from Hakata Port to Naha Port, and on April 3 from Naha Port to Naha Port, each offering a 3-day, 2-night stay on board.
The cruise ship “Asuka II,” operated by NYK Cruises, has an overall length of 241 meters and a beam of 29.6 meters. It has 436 guest rooms, all facing the ocean, and can accommodate up to 872 passengers.
On board, guests can enjoy Japanese and Western-style dinners, entertainment, and the Grand Spa (a large public bath with panoramic views). A special concert by Masahiko Kondo will be held on the March 25 departure, and a special concert by Rimi Natsukawa will be held on the April 3 departure.
Four tour packages will be offered that combine accommodation and sightseeing at ports of call with flights to and from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport. Tour prices start from 250,000 yen.
