KLM Cancels Middle East Flights Due to Regional Situation
Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special handling of flight tickets due to expected snowfall associated with a low-pressure system.
As of 5:00 p.m. on January 23, special handling applies to flights to and from Akita, Niigata, Tajima, and Oki on the 24th. Depending on future weather conditions, additional routes and periods may be added.
For applicable flights, tickets can be changed, rebooked, or refunded without fees, regardless of delays or cancellations. Changes and refunds can be processed on the airline’s website.
In addition, on the 24th, there is a possibility of delays, cancellations, returns to the departure airport, or landings at alternative airports due to snow and strong winds at Hakodate, Aomori, Akita, Hanamaki, Niigata, Komatsu, Tajima, Oki, Izumo, Tanegashima, and Yakushima airports.
