JAL Offers Special Ticket Handling for Flights Affected by Snowfall in Japan
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will cancel its flights to and from the Middle East in light of the regional situation.
Because the airline is operating flights while avoiding the airspace of Iran, Iraq, Israel, and the Gulf states, it will cancel its flights to and from Dubai, Riyadh, Dammam, and Tel Aviv. The date for resuming operations has not yet been decided.
Although passengers with existing reservations have already been notified, KLM has stated that, as other airlines are also canceling flights to and from the Middle East, it is not possible to rebook on flights operating on January 24 and 25.
Air France, British Airways, Lufthansa German Airlines, United Airlines, and others are also canceling flights to and from Middle Eastern destinations such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
