New “Skytree Shuttle Narita Airport Line” Bus to Tokyo Skytree Town and Kinshicho from January 16
Due to JR Hokkaido’s earlier last train schedule, emergency bus services from New Chitose Airport to Oyachi Bus Terminal will operate on the nights of January 28 and 29.
Based on an agreement between Hokkaido Airports Co., Ltd. and bus operators, buses chartered by Hokkaido Airports will be converted into temporary paid shared buses. This will be the first time this measure is implemented.
There is no fixed timetable; buses will depart one after another as soon as they are full. The fare is 1,200 yen, and only cash is accepted. From Oyachi Bus Terminal, passengers can access central Sapporo via the Tozai (East–West) Line of the subway. All Sapporo-bound bus services, except for those bound for Oyachi Bus Terminal, will be suspended.
JR Hokkaido states that, due to insufficient time for snow removal, trains arriving at and departing from Sapporo Station after 9:00 p.m. will be cancelled. The last train from New Chitose Airport toward Sapporo will be the Special Rapid “Airport No. 173,” departing at 8:47 p.m.
