Japan Airlines (JAL) will upsize the aircraft and offer first class on its Tokyo/Haneda–Honolulu route over the New Year holiday period.
First class will be available on flight JL72 from Tokyo/Haneda from December 25 through January 10, 2027. On the return from Honolulu, it will be offered on flight JL71 on December 25, 26, 29, and 30, and on January 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9, 2027, and on flight JL73 on December 27, 28, and 31, and on January 3, 4, 7, and 10, 2027.
The route will be operated with a Boeing 777-300ER configured with a total of 244 seats: 8 in first class, 49 in business class, 40 in premium economy class, and 147 in economy class.
