Etihad Airways will launch a new Abu Dhabi–Calgary route on November 3.
The airline will operate four round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The flight time will be 14 hours and 35 minutes from Abu Dhabi, and 13 hours and 55 minutes from Calgary.
This will be the first route directly linking the Middle East and Western Canada. Calgary serves as a gateway to Alberta and the Canadian Rockies, and Etihad expects demand from both business and leisure travelers. By expanding its long-haul network, the airline aims to accelerate its global reach.
