Etihad Airways to Launch Abu Dhabi–Calgary Route from November 3
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) will launch Copenhagen–Dubai, Phuket, and Krabi routes in its winter schedule.
The Copenhagen–Dubai/Al Maktoum route will operate one round trip per day from October 25. The aircraft type will be the Airbus A320neo. This marks SAS’s first entry into the United Arab Emirates (UAE) since 2011.
The Copenhagen–Phuket route will operate up to three round trips per week from December 9, and the Copenhagen–Krabi route will operate two round trips per week from December 8. Both routes will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. Capacity to Thailand will be expanded by more than 75 percent year-on-year, aiming to capture connecting demand with various cities across Europe.
SAS will newly introduce two Airbus A350-900 aircraft, increasing overall operating capacity across its long-haul network. Capacity on the Tokyo/Haneda route from Japan will increase by 40 percent.
