Cathay Pacific to Increase Fukuoka–Hong Kong Flights from March 29
Uber Japan has launched its hire car dispatch service “Uber Premium” in the Nagoya, Fuji Five Lakes, and Kobe areas.
The service is available in Nagoya City and Nagakute City in Aichi Prefecture; Fujiyoshida City, Oshino Village, Fujikawaguchiko Town, Narusawa Village, and Yamanakako Village in Yamanashi Prefecture’s Fuji Five Lakes area; and Kobe City, Amagasaki City, Nishinomiya City, Ashiya City, Itami City, Takarazuka City, Kawanishi City, Akashi City, and Inagawa Town in Hyogo Prefecture.
In the Nagoya area, the service will meet business demand as well as demand generated by international events. In the Fuji Five Lakes area, it is expected to be used for medium- to long-distance trips with luggage, while in the Kobe area, it is intended to meet transportation needs such as travel for large groups and airport access.
Uber Japan has also revised the cancellation policy for the reservation function, allowing free cancellation up to one hour before the scheduled pickup time.
With this expansion, the service area of “Uber Premium” now covers nine prefectures across Japan. Going forward, Uber Japan will verify demand through trial operations in each region and expand the service area accordingly.
