
11 Railway Operators in Greater Tokyo to Launch Interoperable Postpaid Touch Payment Fare Service on March 25
JR Hokkaido (Hokkaido Railway Company) will operate temporary limited express trains “Kamui No. 95” and “Lilac No. 97” from Sapporo to Asahikawa.
The trains will run on March 13 to 15 and 28. “Kamui No. 95” will depart Sapporo Station at 10:05 p.m. and arrive at Asahikawa Station at 11:30 p.m. “Lilac No. 97” will depart Sapporo Station at 11:16 p.m. and arrive at its final stop, Asahikawa Station, at 12:47 a.m. the following day.
The intermediate stops are Iwamizawa, Bibai, Sunagawa, Takikawa, and Fukagawa. On March 13, both reserved and non-reserved ordinary-class seats will be available; on the other operating days, all cars will be reserved seats only. “Lilac No. 97” will offer Green Car (first-class) reserved seats. Reserved seat tickets will go on sale from 10:00 a.m. one month before each train’s operating date.
At Daiwa House Premist Dome (Sapporo Dome) in Sapporo, the Japanese idol group Arashi will hold concerts from March 13 to 15, and the Japanese artist Vaundy will hold a concert on March 28.
