JR Kyushu will release the “Kodomo Bouken Ticket” (Children’s Adventure Ticket).
The ticket is available for children up to and including 6th grade in elementary school, and offers unlimited one-day rides on all local and rapid trains operated by JR Kyushu, as well as all JR Kyushu route buses. By purchasing a limited express ticket separately, passengers can also ride JR Kyushu’s Shinkansen, limited express, and D&S (design and story) trains.
Sales are limited to JR Kyushu Internet Train Reservations and reserved seat ticket vending machines. Sections not operated by JR Kyushu are not covered, and it cannot be used on the Sanyo Shinkansen between Kokura and Hakata stations or on the Fukuoka City Subway.
The price is 100 yen. It is valid for one day. The usage periods are from March 14 to 31 and from April 25 to May 6. The sales period is from February 14 to May 5. Purchase is required by the day before use, and for JR Kyushu Internet Train Reservations, by 11:00 p.m. on the previous day. It is not sold at station ticket counters.
